What to expect
The Rumour guestlist is the best way for girls and girl groups to party at Rumour (formerly Tabu), the intimate Mayfair club at 1 Dover Street. Entry on the ladies' guestlist runs from free to £20 on the door depending on the night and how busy it is, and Wednesday and Thursday are the easiest nights to get in.
When you reach out for a Rumour guestlist, we will:
- Find out your group's details and the night you want for the Rumour guestlist
- Confirm the entry terms for that night, from free to £20 on the door
- Send you the dress code and the arrival time, and stay reachable throughout the night
When you join the Rumour guestlist, you will:
- Have your names on the list before you set off
- Know the door terms for the night, so there are no surprises
- Get into an intimate room of around 200 built around red velvet booths
The Rumour guestlist is for ladies only. Men are not added to the guestlist, on any night.
For mixed groups and guys, a Rumour booth from £1,000 minimum spend covers entry for the whole group, roughly £125 each across eight people.

RUMOUR GUESTLIST INFORMATION
The Rumour guestlist gets ladies into the Mayfair room that traded as Tabu. The same owners relaunched it as Rumour in October 2026 with a full rebrand, a new design and a new concept, and the Tabu name is no longer used.
Rumour is one intimate room of around 200 built around booths, with deep red velvet, dark panelling, a chandelier and low warm lighting. It fills early by design, so an early arrival and a confirmed name matter more here than at bigger clubs.
RUMOUR GUESTLIST
The Rumour guestlist is a ladies' list. Send us your names and the night, and we confirm the list and the door terms with the club; on the night, give your name at the door at 1 Dover Street, a few minutes from Green Park. Men are not added to the guestlist, so a mixed group needs a booth.
Wednesday and Thursday are the more relaxed nights and the easiest for guestlist entry. Friday and Saturday fill out, and with one room of around 200 they are worth arranging in advance.
RUMOUR ENTRY FEE
Entry on the Rumour ladies' guestlist is free to £20 on the door, depending on the night and how busy it is. We tell you what to expect for your night when we confirm your names.
RUMOUR NIGHTCLUB MUSIC
The music at Rumour is open format, hip hop, RnB and house, read to the room on the night. The club is open Wednesday to Saturday, 11pm to 4am, and there is a no-photography policy in the main room and on the dance floor, enforced by the floor team.
RUMOUR NIGHTCLUB DRESS CODE
The Rumour dress code is smart and dressed up: heels for ladies, a considered look for men, no sportswear, no fancy dress, and trainers at the door's discretion. Rumour is 18+ with photo ID.
If you are unsure about any item of clothing, ask us before the night.
