What to expect
A Rumour table booking is the way into Rumour (formerly Tabu) for men and mixed groups. The intimate Mayfair club at 1 Dover Street is one room built around its booths, and its guestlist is for ladies only, so a booth from £1,000 minimum spend, which covers entry for the whole group, is the route in.
When you reach out for a Rumour table, we will:
- Recommend the best Rumour booth for your group size, budget and night
- Confirm the minimum spend for that night and confirm your booking
- Be accessible to you throughout your night out to ensure the smoothest experience possible
When you book a Rumour table, you will:
- Have entry covered for your whole group, men included, by the booth's minimum spend
- Know your booth and the minimum spend before you arrive
- Have your own booth in a room of around 200 that fills early by design
Rumour booths start from £1,000 minimum spend, which covers entry for the whole group: across eight people that is roughly £125 each. We confirm the figure for your night and group before you book.
The Rumour guestlist is for ladies only, and men are not added to it, so a table is the route in for men and mixed groups.

RUMOUR TABLE PRICES & INFORMATION
A Rumour table booking gets you a booth in the Mayfair room that traded as Tabu. Rumour opened there in October 2026 under the same ownership, with a full rebrand, a new design and a new concept, and the Tabu name is no longer used.
Rumour is one intimate room of around 200, built around its booths: deep red velvet, dark panelling, a chandelier and low warm lighting. It fills early by design, and the music is open format, hip hop, RnB and house, read to the room on the night. There is a no-photography policy in the main room and on the dance floor, enforced by the floor team, which is the clearest difference between Rumour and the rooms around it.
Rumour is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11pm to 4am at 1 Dover Street, between Piccadilly and Grafton Street, a few minutes from Green Park station. Wednesday and Thursday are the more relaxed nights; Friday and Saturday fill out and are worth arranging in advance.
RUMOUR TABLE PRICES
Rumour table prices start from £1,000 minimum spend for a booth, and the minimum covers entry for everyone on the booking. Split across eight people, that is roughly £125 each. When you reach out, we tell you the minimum spend for your night, your group and the booth you like, and once you confirm, we confirm the booking at that figure.
RUMOUR MUSIC
The music at Rumour is open format: hip hop, RnB and house, read to the room on the night rather than fixed to one genre. There is one room of around 200, built around its booths, and it fills early by design.
RUMOUR DRESS CODE
The Rumour dress code is smart and dressed up. For ladies, heels; for gentlemen, a considered look. No sportswear and no fancy dress, and trainers are at the door's discretion.
Rumour is 18+ with photo ID. If you are unsure about any item, ask us before the night.
RUMOUR NO-PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
Rumour does not allow photos or video in the main room or on the dance floor, and the floor team enforce it. Treat the night as off the record: the policy is the single clearest difference between Rumour and the clubs around it.
RUMOUR VENUE HIRE
With one room of around 200, Rumour suits a full takeover for a private party or a corporate night. We arrange the enquiry for you, and the terms are on request. The venue presents itself as a members' club, and you do not need to be a member to book a booth or the guestlist through us.
HALLOWEEN AND NEW YEAR'S EVE AT RUMOUR
Halloween 2026 falls on Saturday 31 October and New Year's Eve on Thursday 31 December, and Rumour opens on both as part of its Wednesday to Saturday schedule. No events have been announced for either night. With one room of around 200, book your booth early, and we confirm the minimum spend for your group when you get in touch.
