Dress Code: What to Wear to 99 Regent Street
99 Regent Street has not published its own dress code under the new name, so dress to the usual Mayfair standard: smart and elegant. For women that generally means heels or smart boots with a dress or tailored outfit; for men, smart shoes, trousers and a shirt. Sportswear, hoodies, caps and beachwear are refused at Mayfair doors. Mayfair clubs admit over-18s only and check physical ID at the door, so expect the same at 99 Regent Street: bring a valid passport or photo driving licence for everyone in your group, because expired ID and photos of ID on a phone are not accepted. Cuckoo Club: The History
When it traded as Cuckoo Club, the venue was one of Mayfair's best-known clubs, with an international crowd, two floors and two VIP sections. The ground floor, called the Cosmos, was styled on the night sky and built for dancing; the lower floor, the Garden, had a quirky Alice in Wonderland-inspired interior and fewer, more private tables. Cuckoo Club was known for its champagne and bottle shows, played hip-hop and R&B upstairs with open-format music downstairs, and usually opened on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Those were Cuckoo Club's nights, layout and music; 99 Regent Street's have not been confirmed, so do not plan around them.
